An article by Mandarin Sino Consult about Chinese language interpretation in the magazine "Asia Bridge" should headline mystically "Die Kofferflüsterer" (The Suitcase Sursurrers). "Kofferflüsterer" in colloquial German means interpretors using mobile audio equipment when working in the field.

For this illustration both parts of the word were visualized: Bullhorns (German Flüstertüten) in a traditional suitcase. Suitcase and bullhorns were built as miniatures made from thin card board, then photographed on a multilingual text as background.

The illustration was planned to feature in large on the left, but had to make way for German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt… The article as PDF document
